Responsibilities:
Respond to and diagnose equipment breakdown and resolving issues Continuously improve production operations Check for proper operating conditions Perform equipment maintenance and complete preventative maintenance work orders Repair any broken equipment Ability to communicate status of work activity and identify methods to perform activities safely, effectively, and efficiently Help in other areas of Maintenance as needed Physical Requirements:
Frequently required to walk, climb, and move in tight spaces; frequently required to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, and controls; must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust vision focus; work is performed in a plant setting with moderate noise level in the working environment Skills and Knowledge:
Extensive knowledge of all equipment and facility operations Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment Communication skills Knowledge of risk management and process safety management programs Mechanical abilities Basic computer skills Knowledge of USDA, OSHA, and state guidelines Ability to read and write in English Competencies:
